With the digital transformation of urban management, urban management capabilities are constantly improving. In the construction of smart cities, smart transportation, smart roads and smart lamp poles, as important components of urban infrastructure, undertake multiple functions such as lighting, environmental monitoring, and information release.
As an important node of the Yangtze River Delta Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, Jiaxing City is actively promoting the construction of smart cities. The Jiaxing Expressway Network under construction is 75 kilometers long and adopts a “one ring and seven rays” pattern, where the “one ring” is a ring line composed of the Central Ring West, Central Ring North, Third Ring East and Changshui Road, and in which the seven rays are Chengbei Road, Chengdong Road, Guangyi Road, Third Ring East Road, Nanhu Avenue, Tongxiang Avenue and Dongsheng Road, and some of these seven roads will also be built in the way of elevated roads. The smart street lights along the Jiaxing Urban Expressway Ring Line Project all use Zhichuan Technology’s low-power miniaturized inclination sensor products (ZCT260J-LBS-H-H1-77B). The first phase has been put into operation, and the later sections are under accelerated construction.
The smart project uses a smart lamp pole tilt monitoring system based on the Internet of Things technology. It is roughly divided into four parts:
1. Sensor deployment: Tilt sensors are installed at important intersections, crowded areas, and earthquake-prone areas in the city. These sensors can monitor the tilt angle of the lamp pole in real time and transmit the data to the central server.
2. Data analysis and processing: The central server receives the data uploaded by the sensor and uses the data analysis algorithm to monitor and analyze the tilt of the lamp pole in real time. Once the tilt of the lamp pole exceeds the safety threshold, the system will immediately issue an early warning signal.
3. Early warning and response mechanism: Once the system issues an early warning signal, the relevant department will immediately activate the emergency plan to inspect or urgently deal with the tilted lamp pole to ensure the safety and stability of the city.
4. Remote monitoring and management: The system also has remote monitoring and management functions. Relevant staff can monitor the tilt of the lamp pole in real time through the smart terminal and conduct remote management and control anytime and anywhere.
By equipping and embedding Zhichuan Technology’s low-power ultra-small smart sensors, smart street lights and smart transportation have become more humane, releasing new quality productivity and injecting new vitality into the sustainable development of cities.
